ACS Approved, EUSR Soon

COVID-19 presented SERT with challenges we hadn’t envisaged, where tough decisions had to be made to ensure we were in a position to come out business-ready after lockdown.

SERT took the decision to utilise the time to invest in our training centre, which has primarily been used for inductions and refresher training for dual fuel technicians.

The investment meant we could unfurlough our training centre staff and repurpose the training centre to gain our ACS accreditation.  The guys worked really hard and helped to overcome numerous challenges to create gas and electric training and assessment areas.  We worked closely with Cert-ain Certification Ltd and gained our accreditation to offer #CCN1, #CENWAT, #CKR1, #CPA1, #HTR1, #MET1, #CoDNESP1 #CESP1, #CMA1 and #MET4.

We are now focussed on obtaining our EUSR approval so can offer NSAP reassessments in the near future.

#CCN1 core domestic gas safety

#CKR1 Domestic gas cooking appliances

#HTR1 Domestic gas fires and wall heaters

#CENWAT Domestic gas fired central heating appliances and domestic gas water and heater appliances

#MET1 Domestic gas meters

#CoDNESP1 Changeover domestic core safety to emergency service provider core

#CESP1 Core emergency service provider

#CMA1 Specific core for meter installers (Natural gas)

#MET4 Install, exchange, remove and commission diaphragm type gas meters.
