Taught over five days, this course will go over the commissioning and certifying of new electrical installations, as well as the procedure for carrying out an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) - our equivalent of a landlord safety check.
Initial Verification content will include:
- Safe testing procedures
- Safe isolation
- Fault checking
- Automatic disconnection of supply
- Single/Three phase testing
- Earthing systems
Periodic Inspection content will include:
- Differences in testing procedures
- Coding various faults
- Theoretical requirements
- Sampling
- Extent and limitations
- Completion of condition reports

Our electrotechnical training centre is based in Hampshire. Before attending you should be DEI certified, and have Level 3 experience or equivalent no longer than 6 months beyond expiry.
