This role is working Monday to Friday and the rate is £180 per day.
What We Are Looking For:
- We are seeking Gas Engineers to join our expanding operations team. You will be responsible for safely carrying out surveys in domestic premises, identifying faults, and performing minor remediation where appropriate, such as labelling pipework, replacing ECVs, and replacing/installing additional pipe brackets.
- Surveyors will be required to undertake a walking detection survey from the gas main to the building line and around the perimeter of the building as appropriate, including:
- The line of the main supply pipe to the building
- Surface boxes
- Visible gas pipework
- Accessible pipe entries
- Any building openings
What You Need to Have:
- Minimum 3 months of gas industry experience
- CCN1 & MET1 certifications
- Good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements, and governing body requirements
- Preferable "on the job" experience with gas pipework, appliances, boilers, and meters
- Full driving licence
