We are looking for a number of Field Debt Recovery Agents to conduct a pre-disconnection visits for a well established company within the energy sector. This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent position locally with full ‘on the job’ training.
In this role, your main duties will include:
- Visit customers to take meter readings, discuss a range of payment alternatives or reconnect supply (if been disconnected already).
- Gather sufficient information to ascertain reasons for debt and possible solutions for the customer – which could include eligibility for pre-payment meter to be installed or smart meter being fitted.
- Arrange for customer to contact call centre to address debt issue.
- Driving to domestic and commercial customers - driving licence is essential.
To be successful in this role, you will be given full training with a field agent as well as consistent support. The ideal candidate will have experience of working alone as well as exposure to working with locksmiths and meter engineers previously, however this is desirable. Self-motivation, great communication and negotiation skills and consistent professional attitude are essential.
Ideally you will have experience working within debt collection, debt recovery or collections adviser. Or security, public service positions are also highly considered.
Our client is able to offer the right candidates:
- Basic salary of £25,200 per annum.
- Uncapped bonus.
- OTE c.£33,000.
- Car allowance (£300 per month) and business expenses (80% fuel costs per month).
- 37.5 hour per week.
- Private BUPA medical healthcare.
- 5% of work is expected to be completed out of hours.
