Job description
We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and installation of fire alarm systems and safety equipment, ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems and battery-operated alarms.
- Diagnose and resolve fire alarm faults.
- Conduct Emergency Light Tests, lighting changeovers, and door repairs.
- Install and maintain fire extinguishers and perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
- Complete daily work certificates, log books, and associated paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Experience in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
