We’re recruiting on behalf of the UK’s largest installer of renewable energy and home insulation measures, voted ‘Installer of the Year 2023’ by The Independent Choice. Since 2008, this award-winning company has installed energy-saving upgrades in over 140,000 homes, helping reduce energy bills and carbon emissions for domestic customers across the country.

Due to growing demand under the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS), they are expanding their field team and seeking an Accredited Retrofit Assessor to conduct energy assessments and contribute to sustainable housing upgrades.

🏡 Your Role: Domestic Retrofit Assessor

As a Retrofit Assessor, you will:

• Conduct on-site energy assessments at domestic properties

• Carry out full retrofit surveys in accordance with PAS 2035 standards

• Identify energy-saving opportunities including loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, and other fabric-first measures

• Take photos, document findings, and compile reports for submission to the Retrofit Coordinator

• Work locally within a set patch to reduce travel time

✅ Requirements

• Accredited Retrofit Assessor (PAS 2035 compliant)

• Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)

• Previous experience conducting retrofit assessments in domestic housing

• Understanding of energy performance certificates (EPCs) and building fabric surveys

• Full UK driving licence
