I am excited to join the SERT team, bringing my educational leadership and research experience as part of an exciting partnership between the company and the University of Huddersfield. I am leading a research project that explores how businesses like SERT collaborate with schools to help young people access pathways to employment in renewable energy industries. Together, we will be co-creating knowledge that will develop curriculum opportunities and engaging provision for students in schools. By combining the academic rigour offered by the University of Huddersfield with the SERT Group’s expertise in training and apprenticeships within the energy sector, I aim to not only enhance life-chances for young people in their employment prospects but also expand our business activity.
