About the Role:
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will undertake both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across various sites in the Midlands and North West. Your responsibilities will include servicing contracts, maintaining commercial installations, and diagnosing faults in a range of mechanical equipment.

Working Hours:
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, five days per week
- Includes a structured overtime package depending on operational requirements
- Participation in an out-of-hours on-call service rota
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the West Midlands, North West, and Central regions
- Servicing contracts for both longstanding and new clients
- Maintaining commercial installations, including gas/oil boilers, pumps, air handling units (AHUs), and general HVAC equipment
- Fault diagnosis, rectification, and ensuring proper operation of mechanical systems
- Preparing compliance and statutory reports in line with gas regulations and best practices
What We Need From You:
- Comprehensive knowledge of servicing and maintaining commercial gas/oil-fired heating and ventilation systems
- Current Gas Safe non-domestic qualifications
- Familiarity with all aspects of M&E
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience using tablet-based CAFM systems
- OFTEC qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Formal electrical qualifications (desirable but not essential)
