This mandatory Gas Safety course is taught across five days and is designed to test a gas engineer’s competence in core smart meter installation.
With two days of refresher training, a two-day practical assessment and a day for theory assessment, this CMA1/3 training will cover course content from both CMA1 and CMA3, including:
- Characteristics of combustion
- Ventilation
- Gas safety legislation and standards
- Emergency actions and procedures
- Installation of pipework and fittings
- Operation of meter regulators
- Tightness testing and purging
Our experienced trainers and assessors are ready and available throughout to provide you with support. By the end of this course you will meet the standard requirements needed to take a variety of bolt-on courses, and be legally certified to work as a gas engineer.
